Search and Rescue / Recovery

OUR SERVICES
We provide a comprehensive set of essential services aimed at disaster response and search and rescue (SAR) operations, particularly in challenging environments

Disaster Response
We provide immediate and effective disaster response solutions, deploying skilled personnel and resources to rapidly assess and address emergencies. Our team is trained to operate in high-stress, fast-changing environments, ensuring swift and coordinated action to minimize harm and save lives.

Search and Rescue (SAR) / Recovery
Our search and rescue operations are designed for a variety of environments, from urban disaster zones to remote wilderness areas. We specialize in locating and recovering victims in complex and hazardous situations, with advanced tools, techniques, and expertise in both urban and wilderness SAR operations.

Temporary Medical Clinics
In disaster-stricken areas, we establish temporary medical clinics to provide immediate care to injured or ill individuals. Our medical teams are equipped to handle a wide range of emergencies, offering triage, trauma care, and stabilizing treatments until more permanent facilities can be set up.

Wilderness First Aid
Our wilderness first aid services are geared toward providing urgent medical care in remote, hard-to-reach areas. Trained in specialized techniques for outdoor environments, our team can stabilize patients and provide life-saving care even in the most challenging locations. We also instruct and certify these skills.

Mountain Rescue
For operations in high-altitude or mountainous regions, our mountain rescue team is equipped with the knowledge and tools needed to safely extract individuals from difficult terrains. Whether dealing with climbing accidents, avalanches, or other wilderness disasters, our specialists are prepared to respond swiftly and efficiently.

Search and Rescue Training (SAR Training)
We offer comprehensive training programs for individuals and organizations in search and rescue operations. Our training includes both theoretical knowledge and practical, hands-on experience in SAR techniques, wilderness first aid, and safety protocols, ensuring teams are ready for real-world emergency situations.

Search and Rescue/Recovery (SAR) Team
Our Search and Rescue/Recovery (SAR) team is highly trained and capable, with a broad range of specialized skills that allow us to operate independently in a variety of challenging environments. We have expertise in technical rescue, including high and low-angle rope rescue, swift water and flood water rescue, as well as urban and wilderness search and rescue. Additionally, we are skilled in wilderness medicine, wilderness survival, and certified safety techniques. We also have air operations certification, which allows us to respond effectively to rescues that require air support or accessing remote areas. All team members hold current NASAR membership and certification.

Our team prides itself on being self-sufficient. We don’t rely on medical support from local, state, or federal agencies during our deployments. This self-sufficiency means that we can handle rescues, provide prehospital medical treatment, stabilize victims, and evacuate to a higher level of care according to our standard operating procedures. While we work in coordination with state and local authorities when needed, we are fully capable of managing complex situations independently.

In short, our team is prepared for any emergency, whether in an urban or wilderness setting, and we have the skills, experience, and resources to handle a wide range of challenging rescue operations.

  1. Technical Rescue Expertise: We have specialized skills in high and low-angle rope rescue, swift water, and flood water rescue, which allows us to respond effectively to both vertical and water-related emergencies.
  2. Self-sufficiency: We don’t rely on external medical support, which is crucial when working in remote or isolated areas. Our ability to provide immediate care, stabilize victims, and evacuate them to a higher level of care ensures we’re fully equipped to manage a variety of rescue situations on our own.
  3. Comprehensive Skillset: With expertise in wilderness medicine, survival skills, and certified safety techniques, we’re equipped to handle everything from basic first aid to complex medical interventions in rugged, unpredictable environments. This broad skill set ensures we’re prepared for rescues in diverse conditions, no matter how challenging.
  4. Cooperation with Authorities: While we are self-sufficient, our standard operating procedures (SOPs) allow us to coordinate with local, state, or federal authorities when needed. This ensures smooth collaboration and efficient resource management, especially in larger or more complex operations.
  5. Air Operations Certification: Our certification in air operations adds an extra layer of flexibility to our capabilities. It allows us to respond quickly and efficiently to rescues that may require airlifting victims or accessing hard-to-reach, remote locations.

These strengths make us highly adaptable and capable of handling almost any rescue scenario, ensuring we’re ready to respond to emergencies with confidence and effectiveness.

Canine Partners / Dog Teams
Our dog teams consist of highly trained canine handlers and canines certified by the American Working Dog Association, the North American Police Dog Association, and/or the Canadian Foundation of Search Dogs.
