WORSHIP IN THE WOODS – FALL GATHERING 2026
October 22–25, 2026
Camp Hidden Rock • Rock, West Virginia
WHERE FAITH MEETS THE MOUNTAINS
Join us at Camp Hidden Rock for an autumn four-day weekend of Worship, Bible Study, Campfire Fellowship, a Harvest Meal, Testimony and plenty of Trail Rides.
As the leaves begin to change and the Appalachian nights grow cooler and darker, we’ll gather together, slow down, look around and make room for what matters most.
A WEEKEND TO GATHER
Our Fall Gathering at Camp Hidden Rock is for Steelecroft family and invited guests.
Throughout the weekend, we’ll share time together through:
WORSHIP
Gather together in the woods for worship, reflection and time in God’s creation.
BIBLE STUDY
Spend time in Scripture, conversation and learning as we explore God’s Word together.
CAMPFIRE FELLOWSHIP
Come prepared to talk about your walk with God, laugh, share stories and simply spend time together. There’s something different about conversation around a fire when the stars are overhead.
HARVEST MEAL
A shared meal and a chance to give thanks for the people, provisions and blessings we’ve received.
TESTIMONY
Stories of faith, growth, challenges overcome and what God is doing in our lives.
TRAIL RIDES
A weekend to explore the beauty of God’s creation while riding the Hatfield-McCoy Trail System.
UNDER THE STARS
SATURDAY NIGHT • OCTOBER 24
When the day winds down and the trails grow quiet, we’ll gather beneath the open sky for a special “Under the Stars” teaching.
Away from the noise and distractions of everyday life, we’ll look up, listen, learn and spend time considering the wonder of God’s creation and what it has to say to us.
Bring a chair. Bring your Bible. Look up.
The heavens declare the glory of God.
COME FOR THE WEEKEND
You can make Camp Hidden Rock your home for the weekend—or stay somewhere nearby.
CAMP ON-SITE
Camping is available on the property for those who want the full outdoor experience.
Camp Hidden Rock is intentionally rustic and natural. There are no hotel rooms, paved campground sites or resort amenities. This is mountain property designed for worship, fellowship, ministry and time outdoors.
Bring your tent, camping gear and sense of adventure.
PREFER A BED?
Not everyone wants to sleep in a tent—and that’s perfectly fine.
We’ve identified several nearby accommodations that work well for guests visiting Camp Hidden Rock.

Guests are responsible for making their own lodging reservations. We recommend reserving early, particularly for larger gatherings and busy weekends.
IMPORTANT: WE’RE REMOTE
Camp Hidden Rock is not a traditional campground—and getting here is part of the adventure.
The property is located directly off the Hatfield-McCoy Trail System. The primary access road is Trail 16, also known as the Pocahontas Trail, and is designed primarily for ATVs, UTVs and side-by-sides.
WHAT THAT MEANS FOR YOU
4WD trucks, Jeeps and other capable trail vehicles can generally make the trip to the property with little difficulty.
Ordinary passenger cars and low-clearance vehicles are not recommended.
Most guests staying off-site choose to park at their lodging and ride into Camp Hidden Rock by side-by-side.
Side-by-sides are available for rent from outfitters in the area. If you plan to rent one, make your reservation early.
Don’t wait until arrival day to figure out transportation.
Your event confirmation will include the specific arrival, parking and trail-access information you need.
REGISTRATION & EVENT FEES
$35 PER PERSON
One flat registration rate for everyone attending.
We’ve intentionally kept the cost of this weekend low so more of our Steelecroft family and invited guests can enjoy the full Camp Hidden Rock experience together.
Your registration fee helps us provide the shared meals, refreshments and supplies needed for the weekend.
